It’s half term in the UK! If you’ve run out of things to do, why not take a look at what we’ve come up with? There are loads of events for little ones going on all over the UK. Have a go at some of our featured recipeshave a go at our craft activities or check out our brilliant colouring pages too. Have a good one!

Birmingham – There are all sorts of events for young readers going on in Birmingham. From storytelling to family fun days. Or pop along to Birmingham Science Museum this half term for all things dinosaur! They also have lots of experiments, object handling and craft events going on throughout the week.

Brighton – Not only is it half term this week, it’s also National Family Week and Brighton Libraries have put on lots of events to celebrate! They’ve got puppet making, baby boogie, story telling, and you can even make a book about you and your family.

Cardiff – Learn all about medieval life at Cardiff Castle. They’ve even got a working catapult!

Hay-on-Wye – Check out Hay Fever, the children’s arm of Hay-on-Wye Literary Festival. They have lots of things going on to keep kids busy. It’s well worth a visit for little literati.

London – Head to London Wetland Centre to make crafty creatures, go on a great pond safari or get involved in some big science experiments. Or, fancy a dip or a boat trip? Discover your local lido or boating lake for fun in the sun (we can’t guarantee the weather!)

Manchester – Head to your local library and get your kids involved in the activities for kids. They’ve got Wii Sports, Play Your Cards Right and some classic games like Cluedo, Monopoly and more.

NewcastleSeven Stories has a fab programme of pirate events this half term. There is always lots to see at Seven Stories, check out their exhibitions too.
