This week sees the annual Children’s Book Week celebration. Focused on primary school children, the campaign aims to get kids reading for pleasure through events and activities held throughout the country at schools, libraries and bookshops. This year’s theme is books around the world. There are plenty of ways to get involved and it should be great fun.
Along with reading and suggesting new books for the children to enjoy, the kids are also encouraged to pick up their pens as well and write something themselves. We hope everyone has a fantastic Children’s Book Week and that a new generation of publishing folk will begin to discover their calling!
