Ingredients
- 125 g dairy free spread
- 125 g demerara sugar
- 225 g oats
- 5 tbsp maple syrup
- Handful of raisins (optional)
How to make it
- Melt the butter in a large pan. Stir in the sugar and syrup on a low heat.
- Add the oats and raisins if you are using them. Stir until the mixture is well combined.
- Pour the mixture into a greased oven proof dish and use the back of a spoon the press mixture evenly. Bake for 20 minutes in a moderate oven, or until the top is browning.
- Cool for 15 minutes and score into squares. Once the flapjacks are cooled completely, turn them out of the dish and serve.
