Baby’s vegetable puree


  • 1 carrot
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 1 potato
  • 1 tbsp frozen peas
  • 2 tbsp sweetcorn (frozen or tinned)
  • 4 tbsp water

How to make it

  1. Peel and chop the carrot into small chunks. Fry in a frying pan in the oil for about five minutes.
  2. Peel and chop the potato, then add this to the peas, sweetcorn and water. Mix well together.
  3. Bring to the boil, then reduce the heat. Cover and simmer for about 15 minutes, stirring to prevent sticking.
  4. Take the pan off the heat and leave to cool. When cool, puree the mixture and serve.
