Ingredients
- 320 g mixed dried fruit – such as sultanas, apricots, prunes, dates
- 160 g almonds
- 160 g mixed seeds – such as sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, poppy seeds
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 250 ml orange juice
How to make it
- In a blender, gently pulse the dried fruit until it is chopped into rough pieces.
- Add the salt, almonds and orange juice and pulse again. The mixture should form into a sticky ball. Gently stir in the seeds.
- Turn out the mixture and flatten it into a rectangle, about 1/2 cm thick. Slice into 8 bars and place them on a lined baking tray.
- Bake in a medium oven for 20 minutes or until golden brown. Make sure you turn the bars over half way through. Leave to cool on the tray, then serve.
