Guacamole and chips

  • 2 large avocados
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 1 tomato
  • 1 juiced lime
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 large pittas

How to make it

  1. Cut the avocados in half and remove the stones. Use a spoon to scrape the flesh into a bowl, and mash until smooth.
  2. Chop the garlic finely, and the tomato into small chunks. Add these to the avocado, then add the lime juice. Mix everything together well, and season to taste.
  3. To make the pitta chips, peel apart the halves of the pittas to make two thin ovals, then cut each oval into five or six thin strips.
  4. Spread the pitta strips out on a baking tray, and bake for about two minutes in a hot oven until they are crisp. Leave them to cool, then serve with the guacamole.
