Christmas celebrations at Priddy Books

Christmas has arrived in the Priddy Books office!

Last Thursday was our annual tree decoration competition. Each year we are challenged to make (or buy for those who don’t craft) a tree decoration to add to the Priddy tree and this year there were some incredible creations. It was then Roger’s job to judge the decorations and pick his winners. There were a lot of amazing entries to choose from so it was a tough job. Here are some of the handmade entries.

And the winner was… Valentine’s crocheted present!

We ended the afternoon with a game of bingo and some karaoke to truly get us in the festive spirit. But don’t worry, we wont share any videos of that!

This year we had our company Christmas dinner at the Le Pont de la Tour, a beautiful french restaurant on the Thames river bank. We had a wonderful afternoon there of delicious food and wine, and excellent company of course!

And of course, we’re spending today in our Christmas jumpers in aid of Save the Children! As a children’s publisher, Save the Children is a charity close to our hearts. They help children in need both in the UK and around the world. If you would like to donate to Save the Children you can find their donation page here.
