Tell us a bit about you and how you came to work at Priddy Books.
I was a member of the Publishing Society at University as I always loved reading and wanted to learn more about the publishing process. During and after university, I completed internships in London and then got my job here at Priddy Books in June 2017!
What does a normal day look like for you?
My normal day consists of selling our wonderful books to publishers in Europe and liaising between our customers and printers during book production. This includes lots of emailing, updating spreadsheets and of course, drinking lots of tea!
What is your favorite part of your job?
I love meeting our customers! I also enjoy when verifications from a print run come in as seeing a series printed in many languages is very satisfying.
What bit of your job do you think people would be most surprised to learn you do?
Lots of people outside of the publishing world are not aware of the large book fairs that happen each year. The International Sales team attend Frankfurt, London and Bologna Book fairs every year to meet with customers and show them our exciting new titles!
Do you have any highlights in the Priddy Books list?
One of the many Priddy Books series I am proud to sell is the Maze Books series. With titles such as Follow Me Around the World, Follow the Bunny & Follow My Heart, this beautifully illustrated series is very popular with our customers.
