We’re delighted that our friends at charity Round Table Children’s Wish (RTCW) raised an amazing £320 at a lunchtime Christmas fundraiser for JP Morgan employees in Bournemouth this week from the sale of books that we donated to them. RTCW is a small national charity which grants special wishes to children and young people with life threatening illnesses, and the money raised from this event will grant the following wish for one of the many children that RTCW help.
‘Lillie is just 3 years old and is suffering from Leukaemia. For her wish Lillie has asked for a wooden Wendy house “with an upstairs and a sandpit in the garden” – very specific. She has seen one at a friend’s house and her mum said she really loves it and would be in it all the time. We have just ordered Lillie a Snowdrop cottage with a matching sandpit and mum is just waiting for the snow to settle before putting it up.’
